Reply to this weeks blog post

I really enjoyed having Clyde visit our classroom this past week. He brought up a lot of interesting points that I hadn't considered before. One point that was a lot of interest to me was the need for presenting material in ASL and English, especially if your tests will be in English.
And a side note, when I try to comment on this weeks post it won't let me, and I have to create a new post. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  1. I wasn't able to reply to this weeks post either. But I agree, the most interesting thing to me was the need for both English and ASL. It made complete sense when he explained the need for both/certain information be given in one but not the other, but it's something I have never really considered. I am glad I got a teachers' perspective on this, seeing as one day I hope to teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  2. That was probably what I took the most out of from last weeks class too. I had never thought about it being that way and how they are 2 different languages and how difficult it would be to test in one when you only know the other.
